Ever since I started photography more than ten years ago, I was drawn to documenting humans — but without being invasive about it. Some photographers are great at street candid portraiture, but being more on the introverted side, I try not to get noticed when out and about with my camera. Without even realizing it until recently, I noticed I had been consistently obscuring or hiding people's faces. What started as instinct became a signature — and eventually, a collection.
